This Sunday, we’ll begin a new series of messages called “Faithful Resistance” asking ourselves the question of “What does it mean to be people whose lives are changed by the Easter story?”
The subject for Week One is “Resisting Fear”.
Rev. Elizabeth and her family will be traveling to Honduras from April 18-20th to visit Casa del Niño, an orphanage for boys aged 7-18.
Feel free to bring a game a boy might like for a PlayStation 4 (none with violent themes please) on Sunday, and they will be delivered to the orphanage.
Here’s a link to what these games might look like. (Used games are welcomed too).
Hosted by CITI Ministries and held at
Grace Lutheran Church 2503 Belair Drive, Bowie, MD 20715.
Join the fun, fellowship and food while helping to support the Bowie Interfaith Pantry. Bring a non-perishable food or travel size personal care item to help those in need.
Please RSVP to Rev. McKinney.
Cost $12 includes breakfast and workshop materials.
Through exercises and discussion, participants will gain the space and tools they need to deepen their writing journeys.
